-INTERNATIONAL EXPOCHACRA
Adding to the trajectory of Editorial Atlántida in this 12th edition, there comes the international experience of Exposium, which organises over 100 trade fairs in the whole world, including SIMA in Paris, AgroFoodTech in China and SITEVI in France and Mendoza. Expochacra will thus be projected once again to the world.
Expochacra 2003 will once again be the big event of our farming activity, where the best farming business will be done. From Argentina to the WORLD.
As an academic rounding off, ExpoCHACRA will include a "program of conferences" given by top level national and international farming specialists.
Likewise, the Exhibition will organise debates, thus creating the possibilities to express opinions or debate issues, on the problems and opportunities involved in farming.
The National Congress of Seedgrowers will also be held with participation of the major companies in the sector.
Furthermore, a Discussion Forum will be generated with the aim of creating an environment for debate and exchange of opinios about the problematic and opportunities in the sector, including foreign trade and funding.
As an unprecedented event, and with the aim of promoting business sessions and exports of Argentine products and services, Business Rounds will be held on the following axes:
- Argentina-Brazil and Brazil-Rest of the World, organized by CONSEIL, representative of SEBRAE (Brazilian Support Service to Medium and Small-Sized Companies). These sessions will be oriented to the agricultural machinery sector and will be held in March, on Thursday 6 and Friday 7. Expochacra exhibitors will NOT pay admission fee.
-Argentina-Europe and Argentina –Rest of the Americas, organized by the Department of Trade of the Chamber of Commerce of Argentina. Expochacra exhibitors will NOT pay admission fee.
Expochacra has arranged for the participation of Professional Delegations from the following countries: Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Chile, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, European Union, Canada and USA. Other delegations who are deciding their participation are: Russia, Ukraine, and other Eastern Europe countries.
In response to visitors and exhibitors' requests, this 12th edition of Expochacra anticipates the creation of a resting area on the Avenues lying at the end of the static exhibition (Avenida de los Ingresos and Avenida de los Agroquímicos), which are 25 m wide / 700 m long, and 22 m wide / 700 m long, respectively.
The resting area will feature a central line of thirty (30) 4 m long benches, placed back to back, with a distance of 15 m from one another. Next to the benches, on both sides, sunshades will be installed, thus catering for shelter, the principal reason for creating these facilities. In these open air spaces, the yerba mate company sponsoring the initiative will provide for hot water dispensers, where promotion material can be handed out to visitors. The sponsoring company may also put logos on the benches, company flags and any other advertising material it shall deem appropriate for the decoration and design of the area.
The exhibition will have a total of four entrances, one for each of the following groups:
The first three will have a new design for vehicle access, with 5 m wide flaps to transport vehicles from province road n°14, 50 m before the entrance, which will be asphalt paved for better circulation. Access ways will also be asphalt paved to assure a rapid and safe access to the exhibition.
Expochacra 2003 will feature a considerably larger amount of chemical restrooms for the public in general, with a fully renewed layout to provide a better service to visitors. These restrooms will be located in different areas of the exhibition to facilitate access.
Exhibitors who hire lots of 900 m or more will be offered a private chemical restroom.
At the exhibitor's own request, these restrooms may be installed in the lot itself or in the premises nearest his stand. These exclusive restrooms for exhibitors will have a n° and key, which they must return at the end of the day for cleaning purposes. The keys will be given back to them at the exhibition's opening. The exhibitor may also request the C.E. to have the restrooms cleaned during the day, if necessary.
The creation of thematic food courts, differentiated by type of food, will represent the biggest change. These areas will display the know-how of the various construction companies in the sector. The main benefit of this new layout will be the possibility to choose what to eat, where to sit down to enjoy it and above all, pay an affordable price taking into account the current economic situation, apart from assuring a wide gastronomic offer.
(SIMA - Paris, AgroFoodTech - China, INNOV AGRI - France)
