The competition will take place from February 21 to Sunday 23.

This competition is organised by Vinopress in Collaboration with the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and is accredited by the O.I.V (International Wine Organisation). However all the SIAL participants will be registered in the competition and they will be entitled to present 3 of their product samples for free if they buy a booth before December 20, 2002.

These added values to our show are totally free of charge and no other fees will be charged to our exhibitors.

However, if one of the exhibitor wishes to register a supplementary sample, he will have to bear the registration cost of 170 USD per sample.

If you wish to get more information with this regard, please kindly contact Mr. Thomas Costenoble (vinopres@skynet.be) he is the person in charge of organising the whole competition.

The official results will be given during the first day of the SIAL and we will organise the same day a diner where the wine competition participants and distributors in China will get a chance to settle business contacts.

China National Food Industry Association (CNFIA), which is the national authority for China's food industry, represents over 3,000 Chinese enterprises in the food industry and provides a bridge between the Chinese market and the overseas food industry.  Over the last decade the Chinese food industry has grown by up to 10% annually.  Post-WTO, China will have an immense influence on the global economy.  A richer, more steady, global food industry is expected to develop.  The Chinese market has become one of the most interesting markets in the world. 

CHINAFOOD 2003 is a co-operation between the CNFIA and Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs China & Keylong Exhibitions Service Co., Ltd.  and will be held on August 27-29, 2003 at INTEX Shanghai and Shanghai Mart.  It is the place where industry and end-users met.  On Chinafood 2003 companies from over 30 countries will exhitit dairy, sweet, wine, meat, fresh & frozen food, seasoning, as well as food technology, processing equipment, and import and wholesale services for the food industry.
